About Donny Gleason:

Named head coach in June 2024, Coach Gleason has quickly made an impact at Purdue Fort Wayne, helping guide standout athlete Logan Muir to All-MIVA Second Team honors in 2025, followed by First Team All-MIVA recognition and AVCA All-America Honorable Mention honors in 2026. Before arriving at Purdue Fort Wayne, Gleason served as the Men's Head Coach at Daemen University from 2019–2024, where he made history as the program's first-ever head coach. Under his leadership, the Wildcats compiled an impressive 81-43 career record (.653 winning percentage), captured their first Northeast Conference Championship in 2024, and earned the first AVCA Top 20 Coaches Poll ranking in program history, reaching No. 20 nationally.
A graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology, Gleason earned both his bachelor's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering and his master's degree before launching a successful collegiate coaching career. He also holds certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
